RC Fusion Clean Solvent

The RC Fusion Clean Solvent is a hot vulcanizing splice material engineered to create a permanent, tackified bond between cured and uncured rubber during belt splicing. RC Fusion Clean Solvent is an all purpose cleaner that can be used on rubber, metal, fiberglass and plastic. It is not recommended for use on urethane or PVC applications.

Hot vulcanized splicing produces the strongest, longest-lasting conveyor belt joint available, and the quality of that splice depends heavily on properly prepared, tackified rubber surfaces before heat and pressure are applied. Purpose-formulated cements and surface preparation solvents ensure cured and uncured rubber bond correctly, without leaving residues that could weaken the finished splice.

Formulations that leave no oily residue and don’t interfere with adhesion are essential to a clean, dependable splice, and solvent-free or low-VOC options give crews the flexibility to meet site safety and environmental requirements without compromising splice quality.
