Splicing Foil

The Splicing Foil is a fabric-reinforced conveyor belt repair material designed for fast, durable repair of punctures, gouges, and longitudinal rips. Fusion Splicing Foil is excellent for replacing damaged or worn layers in a conveyor belt when building up a repair. Use in conjunction with Fusion Cover Rubber compound.

Fabric reinforcement adds long-term security over standard patch-only repairs, helping the repaired section withstand ongoing flexing, loading, and abrasion. Used together with compatible cover rubber or bonding cement, this material is a standard part of any conveyor maintenance program aimed at maximizing belt uptime.

Conveyor belts inevitably pick up puncture, gouge, and longitudinal rip damage from tramp material, misaligned guides, and normal wear.
