The Liftchain® Miner Series Air Chain Hoists is a heavy-duty lifting product built for dependable performance and long service life on industrial lifting and rigging tasks. The Miner Series features the same compact, robust design as our standard Liftchain air hoists, but adds several upgrades for the heavy duty conditions found in the underground mining and tunneling industries. This includes operation to 60 psia (4 bar), top hook mounted on chain links, an optional extra bottom hook for pulling, top and bottom limit switches and a cast iron pendant control.
Reliable overhead lifting is central to safe, efficient material handling, and hoist and winch designs are engineered around that priority: enclosed gearing to protect internal components from contamination, corrosion-resistant fasteners and load chain for harsh environments, and continuous-duty motors rated for repeated, demanding lift cycles.
Depending on the drive type — electric, air, hydraulic, or manual — this equipment is tested and rated in accordance with recognized industry standards (such as ANSI/ASME B30 series requirements) to ensure predictable, safe performance under rated load.
