The Heavy Duty Pinch Valves from Flowrox is a rugged slurry valve built for demanding isolation and control applications where standard valves wear out quickly. Flowrox heavy duty pinch valves are designed for shut off and control applications involving abrasive or corrosive slurries, powders or granular substances. In the open position, the valve is full bore with no flow restrictions. During closing, two pinch bars squeeze the valve sleeve shut on the centerline. Bubble tight shut-off is provided even if solids have built up on the sleeve wall.

Standard valve designs struggle in abrasive slurry, powder, and corrosive process media, where seat wear and buildup quickly compromise sealing performance. Pinch and knife gate valve designs address this directly — full-bore, unobstructed flow paths in the open position minimize wear surfaces, while elastomer sleeves and bi-directional sealing tolerate backflow and maintain a tight shutoff even after repeated cycling.
