The SSP Max (Superspotter Max) from Almex Group is an industrial belt vulcanizing press built to produce consistent, long-lasting splices on fabric-ply and steel-cord conveyor belts. The Super Spotter Max (SSP Max) is the latest Almex spot and rip repair press for heavyweight rubber belt maintenance. Use these presses to repair small tears and punctures in the field or shop. The SSP Max comes in 2 sizes – a 60” Max belt width or a 78” Max belt width, both with 100 PSI and 12” x 12” platen area.
Modular, sectional press designs allow crews to cover long splice lengths by combining press sections, while advanced connector systems reduce the reliance on heavy pressure bolts and speed up press assembly and teardown on site. The result is a repeatable, high-integrity splice that stands up to the tension and flex cycles of continuous belt operation.
