The Superspotter (SSP4) from Almex Group is an industrial belt vulcanizing press built to produce consistent, long-lasting splices on fabric-ply and steel-cord conveyor belts. The Almex Superspotter (4th Generation) is a superior vulcanizing presses for heavy weight rubber belt maintenance. This field-portable press is ideal for repairing small tears and punctures. The SSP model is a `one-man’ repair press, allowing one person to carry the press to the repair location, assemble the vulcanizer, and effect the repair. The ease of transport and operation means a very fast cycle to minimize conveyor downtime.
Hot vulcanized splicing remains the strongest and most durable way to join conveyor belt ends, and heavyweight sectional presses are built to apply the controlled heat and pressure that process requires across a wide range of splice lengths and belt constructions, from fabric ply through steel cord.
