The SVP – UBR Bar Style and HTR Connectors from Almex Group is a heavyweight sectional vulcanizing press engineered for permanent, high-strength conveyor belt splicing in demanding industrial settings. Introducing one of the most advanced vulcanizers in the world, featuring the High Tensile Restraint (HTR) system. Developed by Almex Group, the HTR system replaces heavy pressure bolts with significantly lighter and stronger advanced composite materials. Rugged and corrosion proof, this unique restraint system greatly reduces the potential of injury. The corresponding ultra-light beams weigh only 13.5 kg/meter. Our UBR vulcanizer can be configured for 100 psi or 200 psi by changing the spacing of the beams with the unique connector system. .
Hot vulcanized splicing remains the strongest and most durable way to join conveyor belt ends, and heavyweight sectional presses are built to apply the controlled heat and pressure that process requires across a wide range of splice lengths and belt constructions, from fabric ply through steel cord.
