T480 Pneumatic Barring Motor

The T480 Pneumatic Barring Motor is a compressed-air-driven power tool designed for high-torque, variable-speed industrial duty where explosion-proof and overload-safe operation matters. For diesel engines with displacements up to 500 liters and gas engines up to 1000 liters. 90-psig air operation produces more than 300 ft-lb of torque. Integral disc brake is always engaged when motor is not in operation to ensure safer, easier engine adjustments.

Variable speed and torque are controlled simply through air supply pressure and volume, giving operators fine control without complex electronics. Reversible operation, compact housings, and simple maintenance make this equipment a practical fit for barring diesel and gas engines, driving winches and hoists, and powering other rotary equipment on the plant floor or in the field.
